any concerns relative to historic properties that may be affected by the project, <strong>and</strong> provide any<br />
information that will assist NRCS with project planning <strong>and</strong> appropriate treatment of cultural<br />
resources.<br />
The Sponsor <strong>and</strong> Kimley-Horn have conducted several consultations with the U.S. Army Corps of<br />
Engineers, Regulatory Branch – Phoenix office in regards to jurisdictional determinations of<br />
Waters of the U.S. in the project area. Kimley-Horn prepared on behalf of the Sponsor application<br />
of Approved Jurisdictional Determination (AJD) <strong>and</strong> a Significant Nexus Analysis (SNA). These<br />
documents have been submitted to the Corps of Engineers. The Corps has received <strong>and</strong> reviewed<br />
the AJD <strong>and</strong> the SNA, <strong>and</strong> per requirements, has forwarded the AJD <strong>and</strong> SNA to the U.S<br />
<strong>Environ</strong>mental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA is currently reviewing the submittals.<br />
In addition to the public, the following agencies <strong>and</strong> groups were invited to participate during the<br />
planning process:<br />
