Dr. S.K. GUPTA, Associate Professor, Deptt. of Vety. <strong>Parasitology</strong>, CCS HAU, Hisar has<br />
been awarded the Best Teacher Award, <strong>for</strong> the year 2001-2002 by CCS Haryana<br />
Agricultural University, Hisar in recognition of his significant contribution in<br />
undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the field. This award was given to him by His<br />
Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India on 19.4.2003 during the 22nd<br />
Convocation of the University.<br />

<strong>The</strong> book 'Remembering Dr. S.C. Dutt' edited by Prof. M.C. Agarwal, Head, Deptt. of<br />
<strong>Parasitology</strong>, College of Verinary Science and Animal Husbandary, Jawaharlal Nehru<br />
Krishi Vishwa Vidayalaya, Jabalpur, India is a compilation of biographical in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
about Late Dr. S.C. Dutt, the eminent parasitologist. <strong>The</strong> book also contains a<br />
compilation of Dr. S.C. Dutt Memorial lectures and invited articles on 'Present Problems<br />
in <strong>Parasitology</strong>' <strong>The</strong> book is an inspiration <strong>for</strong> young scientists to follow the path of Prof.<br />
Satish Chandra Dutt and is a nice tribute by the students to their teacher.<br />
