VOLUNTEER EVENTS
NEW VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION SESSIONS 2013

The New Volunteer Orientation is mandatory training for
volunteer candidates. This three hour orientation provides
hands-on experience and information in order to equip
volunteer candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge
they will require during their volunteer time with 4-H.
New Volunteer Orientation sessions are designed for
those who have not previously volunteered with 4-H
including youth leaders; however, current volunteers may
also attend one of these evenings as their volunteer reengagement
activity.
New this year: New Volunteer Orientation will also be
available as a part of Volunteer Symposiums. See page 32
of this guide for more information on those sessions.
REGISTRATION:
Please register with your Coordinator, Volunteer Support
at least one week before the date of your preferred
training session. Registering for the session will ensure
the Coordinator, Volunteer Support has your preferred
contact information and can relay any information
regarding changes to your session date, time or location.
