W. GARFIELD WESTON FOUNDATION 4-H UK EXCHANGE
For 4-H members ages 18–21
Application deadlines: February 15, 2013 (for 2013 travel), October 25, 2013 (for 2014 travel)

Experience a new country and expand your global perspective. The W. Garfield Weston Foundation 4-H International
Exchange is a unique opportunity to learn more about agriculture and resources around the world, represent 4-H in
Canada, and gain new friendships and experiences that will last a lifetime.
Funded by the W. Garfield Weston Foundation, the exchange sends 4-H delegates to various locations around the
world, such as the United Kingdom, Korea and Taiwan, where they participate in a reciprocal host-family exchange for
up to eight weeks in this once in a lifetime opportunity.

YOUTH EXCHANGES CANADA
For 4-H members, ages 12–17
Application deadline: February 2 (For travel in 2013)
Maximum of 10 delegates per group
If you have wanted to see more of Canada then the Youth Exchanges Canada program is for you! This program provides
groups of ten delegates and one chaperone a chance to see another area of Canada and experience the culture, language
and history of that region. This is a reciprocal exchange visit between groups across Canada.
