Together, we are making CHC an even better place to work! Our Employee <strong>Engagement</strong> journey<br />
started in 2008, and since then we have experienced highly significant growth in our Employee<br />
<strong>Engagement</strong> scores.<br />
Our goal is to achieve the Gallup designation of a Best Practice Workplace in Spring <strong>2013</strong>. A highly<br />
engaged workplace means a better place for each of us to work and a better place for our patients<br />
to receive quality care.<br />
Where do we stand?<br />

For more than a year, we have focused<br />
our attention on the Mission/Purpose<br />
question — how each employee’s job<br />
relates to CHC’s mission. As a result, the<br />
score for Q8 Mission/Purpose continues<br />
to climb from 4.09 in Spring 2011 to 4.46<br />
in Fall 2012!<br />
We held the “Our Piece” puzzle contest<br />
during Fall Fest. Participation was remarkable<br />
with 97 workgroups captivating us<br />
with their creativity!<br />
<strong>The</strong> path to a stronger<br />
workplace<br />
A majority of CHC employees responded<br />
either Strongly Agree or Agree to each of<br />
the five questions. Together, we are making<br />
CHC an even better place to work and<br />
a place where our patients and customers<br />
know that we care about them! We<br />
want to create an environment where it is<br />
obvious that Every Employee, Every Patient,<br />
Every Time is how we care for people.<br />
Our next survey will be Spring <strong>2013</strong>. It<br />
will be the full survey and our goal is to<br />
reach Best Practice designation (75th<br />
percentile). We believe that we are an<br />
outstanding healthcare organization and<br />
achieving Best Practice defines us as one<br />
of the top healthcare organizations in<br />
employee engagement.<br />

to identify and carry out initiatives that<br />
will make CHC a stronger workplace.<br />
