Welcome to our third annual Angus Production sale. On behalf of the 

Day Family we are quick to welcome you to our ranch and are excited 

about our sale offering. This years sale marks over 100 years of the Day 

Family being involved at some level in the production of cattle. For 

generations after generations the Days have been closely involved in the 

cattle business and this sale is the pinnacle of that entire 100 years for us. 

We firmly believe just like in our everyday businesses that each client 

is as important as the other. We have always taken the approach in anything 

we do that we have to treat all buyers of our cattle with the utmost 

respect. Our wants and desires are to raise quality Angus Seedstock that 

will work well for our clients and represent our name well. This sale 

offering that we have lined up, we feel will do just that! They represent 

our strongest cow families and the most prominent genetics that we

It is an honor for R & R Marketing Company to be working closely 

with Day Cattle Co. in marketing their 3 rd annual Angus Production 

Sale. 

Year 2007 marks over 100 years for the Day family to be involved in 

the cattle business. Generation after generation, the Day family has 

been actively involved with the production of cattle. For the last several 

years Jim and Alice Day along with their son, Aaron, have been aggressive 

at building one of the finest small herds of purebred Angus seedstock. 

They have actively sought some of the finest and most predictable 

Angus genetics they could justify and this sale will highlight 

the fruits of their labor. These cattle are bred to be efficient, well structured, 

very docile and have that built-in predictability to them. We all 

feel very satisfied they have done just that. The sale offering will feature 

the strength of their donor pool along with a powerful selection of bred 

cows, bred heifers and a strong set of open heifers. This event will also 

feature a strong selection of pregnancies from the most proven lines of 

cattle in the DCC herd.

with progeny IMF of ultrasound ribeye ratios of 102 and 107 respectively

SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

The cattle will sell under the Suggested Terms and Conditions of the American Angus 

Association. Cattle must be paid for sale day and before cattle will be released, unless 

prior arrangements have been made with the owners or the sale manager. 

HERD HEALTH 

Proper health certificates for Interstate shipment will accompany each lot. 

REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES 

All cattle will be transferred to the buyer at the sedller’s expense. Each buyer must be 

sure to give the clerk the proper name and address for making transfers. All calves born 

before the sale are to be registered by the seller; all born after the sale are to be registered 

by the purchaser. Proper breeding statements will be signed by the seller for the 

buyer to use in registering calves born after the sale. 

TRUCKING 

For assistance, contact Henry Stockdale, (931) 626-8080. We will be happy to assist in 

making delivery arrangements. We recommend that insurance be obtained on all purchases, 

which will be available sale day at the clerk’s desk.
