NER GROUP (GREF RECORDS)

1. Pay fixation cell for revision of pay and pension under RPR-2008 was
established under supervision of GREF Records, NER Group vide HQ DGBR letter
No. 17621/IRLA/DGBR/E2A(T&C) dated 14 Nov 2008. Accordingly clerical staffs
from 08 different Projects were detailed to carryout revision work.
2. At the end of Dec 2009, 1811 Pay Fixation and 1552 pension revision
cases were completed. Only 267 Data Sheet duly verified by AO GREF Centre
was pending with PF Cell for want of option for communication. Keeping in view
the reduction in work load balance with PF Cell, representative of all projects
were returned on 21 Jan 2010 and responsibility of balance work was handed
over to NER Group/ GREF Records.
3. During the period Jan 2010 to Mar 2010, additional work of re-fixation of
pay in respect of Asst Adm Officers and PS came into hand due to revision of
Grade Pay from 4200 to 4600 in PB-2. Accordingly, re-fixation of pay was
completed and supplementary arrears claim were sent to PAO GREF and revised
Data Sheets were also sent to PCDA (P) Allahabad.
4. After protected correspondence with Projects, out of 267 cases of Data
Sheets, 229 options received from affected units/ pensioners and Data Sheets
forwarded to PCDA (P) Allahabad for issuing corrigendum PPO. At present only
53 Data Sheets are pending for want of options.
