Advanced <strong>Adler</strong>ian Psychotherapy Certificate.<br />
402 Introduction to <strong>Adler</strong>ian <strong>Psychology</strong> and Psychopathology 3 cr.<br />
431 Child Guidance and Parenting 1 cr.<br />
432 Child Guidance and Parenting Group Supervision 1 cr.<br />
514 Life Style Analysis and Diagnosis 3 cr.<br />
517 Advanced Lifestyle Assessment 3 cr.<br />
523 <strong>Adler</strong>ian Approaches to Individual and Family Therapy 3 cr.<br />
524 Advanced <strong>Adler</strong>ian Interventions 3 cr.<br />
Elective class with focus on <strong>Adler</strong>ian principles<br />
3 cr.<br />
607, 619 <strong>Adler</strong>ian Advanced Practicum I (200 hours) + Seminar 2 cr.<br />
608, 620 <strong>Adler</strong>ian Advanced Practicum II (200 hours) + Seminar 2 cr.<br />

In order to complete the certificate, the student must also present a case<br />
conceptualization with interventions as a final capstone to measure<br />
competency. The student would also be required to present case as a Common<br />
Hour to peers.<br />
Graduation Requirements<br />
1. Satisfactory completion <strong>of</strong> 26 credit hours, including all required<br />
courses.<br />
2. Satisfactory completion <strong>of</strong> 700 minimum clock hours <strong>of</strong> advanced<br />
practicum, including regular supervision from an <strong>Adler</strong>ian Core<br />
Faculty member if the site selected is not <strong>Adler</strong>ian focused.<br />
3. A cumulative grade point average <strong>of</strong> 3.0 or higher and no more than<br />
one grade <strong>of</strong> “C.”<br />
4. Successful completion <strong>of</strong> a written, comprehensive case study <strong>of</strong> a<br />
client followed by an oral examination.<br />
