Leo Lobl, M.S.S.A., Distinguished Service Pr<strong>of</strong>essor, Part-Time Program Faculty<br />
Mr. Lobl earned his B.A. at Queens College, his M.S.S.A. at the University <strong>of</strong><br />
Pittsburgh, and his Certificate in Psychotherapy at the Alfred <strong>Adler</strong> Institute <strong>of</strong><br />
Chicago. He is a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social<br />
Worker. Mr. Lobl teaches courses in pr<strong>of</strong>essional development and clinical<br />
seminars for M.A. students.<br />
John F. Newbauer, Ed.D., HSPP, Part-Time Program Faculty<br />
Dr. Newbauer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Diplomate <strong>of</strong> the North<br />
American Society <strong>of</strong> <strong>Adler</strong>ian <strong>Psychology</strong>, a Diplomate and Fellow <strong>of</strong> the College<br />
<strong>of</strong> Forensic Examiners, and Diplomate <strong>of</strong> the American Board <strong>of</strong> Psychological<br />
Specialties in Psychological Assessment, Evaluation and Testing. Dr. Newbauer<br />
teaches courses in <strong>Adler</strong>ian theory and methods, psychological assessment,<br />
gender issues and clinical seminars. His additional interests include correctional<br />
and forensic psychology, juvenile delinquency, sexual <strong>of</strong>fenders, clinical<br />
hypnosis, custody and parenting issues, spirituality and religion, and gender<br />
and multicultural issues. In addition to coordinating the Fort Wayne program,<br />
Dr. Newbauer serves as Director <strong>of</strong> Treatment Services and Diagnostics for the<br />
Allen County Juvenile Center, a detention center for the Allen Superior Court in<br />
Fort Wayne, Indiana. He also teaches in the summer for the International<br />
Committee on <strong>Adler</strong>ian Summer <strong>School</strong>s and Institutes (ICASSI).<br />
Joseph Troiani, Ph.D., Part-Time Program Faculty and Coordinator<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Substance Abuse Program<br />
Dr. Troiani earned his B.A. in <strong>Psychology</strong>/Sociology at Northeastern Illinois<br />
University, his Master’s in Health Administration at Governors State University,<br />
and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical <strong>Psychology</strong> at the Fielding Institute. He is a<br />
Certified Addictions Counselor. Dr. Troiani teaches courses in substance abuse<br />
assessment and treatment. His additional interests include aggression and<br />
violence, the mentally ill substance abuser, domestic violence and sex<br />
<strong>of</strong>fenders, community mental health, behavioral health and public policy,<br />
political psychology, and health care administration.<br />

Jane Griffith, M.A.T., M.A. Faculty Emerita<br />
Ms. Griffith earned her B.A. at Hollins College, her M.A.T. at the University <strong>of</strong><br />
Maine, and her M.A. in Counseling <strong>Psychology</strong> at the Alfred <strong>Adler</strong> Institute <strong>of</strong><br />
Chicago. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical<br />
Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Counselor. Ms. Griffith teaches courses in <strong>Adler</strong>ian theory and<br />
methods and pr<strong>of</strong>essional writing. Her additional interests include the<br />
psychology <strong>of</strong> illness and wellness.<br />
