Julie Chodacki, Ph.D., Core Faculty<br />

Dr. Chodacki earned her Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts degree in philosophy at Harvard<br />

University, her Master <strong>of</strong> Arts degree in philosophy at University <strong>of</strong> Illinois at<br />

Chicago, and her Doctor <strong>of</strong> <strong>Psychology</strong> degree in clinical psychology at the<br />

Illinois <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>Psychology</strong>, Chicago Campus. Doctor Chodacki<br />

completed internship in adult psychology at Cambridge Hospital, Harvard<br />

Medical <strong>School</strong>, and post doctoral fellowship in family systems and health at the<br />

Chicago Center for Family Health and MacNeal Medical Center, University <strong>of</strong><br />

Chicago affiliates. She is licensed in clinical psychology, and her pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />

interests include social class, resilience and happiness.<br />

Kerry Cochrane, M.A., M.S.W., Faculty Affiliate<br />

Kerry Cochrane is the Director <strong>of</strong> Library Services, member <strong>of</strong> the Academic<br />

Leadership Team, and Faculty Affiliate for the Institute on Social Exclusion at<br />

the <strong>Adler</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>Psychology</strong>. She currently serves as Secretary<br />

<strong>of</strong> Faculty Council and sits on the Student Learning Outcomes Assessment<br />

Program committee. Ms. Cochrane earned her B.A. and M.A. from the<br />

University <strong>of</strong> Iowa. She also earned a clinical M.S.W. from Loyola University<br />

Chicago, and maintains a small clinical practice. Before coming to the <strong>Adler</strong><br />

<strong>School</strong>, she held faculty appointments at Loyola University Chicago and at<br />

University <strong>of</strong> Illinois at Chicago. She has extensive experience teaching online<br />

research in psychology and related social sciences at the undergraduate and<br />

graduate level; in academic materials selection in a variety <strong>of</strong> formats; and in<br />

writing, planning, and administration. As Faculty Fellow she has participated in<br />

the development <strong>of</strong> the strategic vision for the ISE, the creation <strong>of</strong> Social<br />

Exclusion Simulations, and proposal writing.<br />

Cristina Cox, Ph.D., Core Faculty<br />

Dr. Cox earned her B.S. in <strong>Psychology</strong> at Michigan State University and her M.A.<br />

and Ph.D. in Clinical <strong>Psychology</strong> at Loyola University. She is a Licensed Clinical<br />

Psychologist. Dr. Cox teaches courses in child and adolescent therapy,<br />

ethnocultural diversity, gender diversity, psychological assessment <strong>of</strong> children,<br />

and clinical seminars. Her additional interests include models <strong>of</strong> intervention<br />

and assessment with children, integrative psychotherapy, bilingual/bicultural<br />

and language issues, learning disabilities and cognitive deficits, development<br />

and temperament, and consultation in educational settings.<br />

Raymond E. Crossman, Ph.D., President and Core Faculty<br />

Dr. Crossman was appointed the fifth president <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Adler</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />

Pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>Psychology</strong> in 2003. He is a psychologist and family therapist. Dr.<br />
