public libraries, lake front parks, museums, and public parking facilities. Major<br />
tourist attractions include the Art Institute <strong>of</strong> Chicago, Water Tower Place, Navy<br />
Pier, Auditorium Theater, Chicago Theater, Oriental Theater, Sears Tower, Shedd<br />

The Vancouver campus is located at the corner <strong>of</strong> West Georgia Street and<br />
Thurlow, in the heart <strong>of</strong> Vancouver's dynamic shopping and business core. With<br />
stunning views, the campus boasts state <strong>of</strong> the art classroom and<br />
administrative technology and newly renovated classroom and <strong>of</strong>fice space for<br />
our Vancouver students, faculty, and staff.<br />
The Vancouver Campus is conveniently accessible through public transit.<br />
The Burrard Skytrain station is easily accessed one block away from campus at<br />
Burrard Street (between W. Georgia and Dunsmuir). The Skytrain's Millennium<br />
and Expo Lines are just one station away from Waterfront, where connections<br />
for the Sea Bus and West Coast Express are available. A major bus hub is also<br />
located at Burrard and Dunsmuir Streets, which is 20 minutes from the<br />
Vancouver International Airport. Located downtown in an area that is wellknown<br />
for its shops (Robson Street, and the Pacific Centre Mall) and<br />
restaurants, we are also just moments away - either on foot or a brief bus ride<br />
- from theatres, the Art Gallery, Stanley Park, and English Bay Beach.<br />
Faculty<br />
The <strong>School</strong>’s educational philosophy is embodied in its diverse, dedicated,<br />
and highly qualified faculty. Faculty members are chosen for their educational<br />
qualifications, pr<strong>of</strong>essional experience, clinical training and practice,<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional and community involvement, area <strong>of</strong> expertise, scholarship, ability<br />
to teach, and personal/pr<strong>of</strong>essional commitment to the <strong>School</strong>’s mission to<br />
educate socially responsible graduates. Faculty members are pr<strong>of</strong>essionals, who<br />
combine community involvement and clinical practice with their instructional<br />
duties. Many hold leadership positions and are active in pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
organizations throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada. The faculty’s<br />
high level <strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essional activity enriches the curriculum and models for<br />
students the integration <strong>of</strong> community involvement, clinical practice,<br />
scholarship/research, and pr<strong>of</strong>essional contribution.<br />
