WHISTLING
STRAITS
The PGA Championship will return to Wisconsin
and the shores of Lake Michigan August 9-15,
2010 when the 92nd staging of the year’s final
Kohler. The acclaimed Straits Course played host
Singh in 2004.
Opened for play in 1998, the Pete Dyedesigned
Straits Course is ranked by Golf Digest
as one of “America’s 100
Greatest Courses,” and is one
of two 18-hole courses on the
of the longest layouts in
major championship history at
7,536 yards, Whistling Straits
spectators per day during the
2004 PGA Champ Vijay Singh.
2004 PGA Championship.
“The PGA of America is truly honored to
return to Whistling Straits,” says Championship
Director, Barry Deach. “This venue is a perfect
match for our great Championship. It will provide
players from around the world with a difficult, but
fair challenge. Whistling Straits proved in 2004
that it is a major championship venue. A record
number of fans proved that the people of
Wisconsin appreciate great golf and embrace this
great Championship. The PGA of America is
thrilled to be back in Wisconsin and expects
another memorable Championship in 2010.”
Tickets for the Championship, featuring the
world’s greatest golfers, are on sale now. All ticket
