12.01.2010 jointly with officer's
club Kathara. The function was
formally inagurated by the chief
guest A.G.M CCL Kathara Er.
A.K. Dutta by lighting the lamp.
He was assisted by zoc Er. G.P.
Singh. The speakers in general
described Swamijee's
contribution and branch secy S.N.
Jha's impressive speech in
particular regarding his vision. On
14.01.2010 branch distributed
clothes to about 100 needy
families. ZOC Er. G.P. Singh was
present on that occasion in the
remote village.
Bokaro Thermal : Branch's
General body meetting was held
on 14.02.2010 at station club for
branch office bearers. The
members elected Shri Suman
Kumar president, Er. Rajiv
Ranjan, as Secretary and Shri
Ashok KumarTreasurer,.

Reddy, welcomed the members,
Shri Naidu, S.I. of police was the
guest for the occasion. Meeting
was presided over by Shri B.S.
Rajendar, joint secretary of the
branch. On this occassion this
branch donated steel shelves
worth Rs. 10,000/- to awasam. Dr.
Ashok Kumar Gaur, ex President
of this branch donated books.
Shri Naidu, S.I. of Police donated
5 quintals of rice to the awasam.

School "Vyasa Rachana"
competitions were conducted on
the occasion of Birthday of
Swamy Vivekananda among High
School students situated in the
Anakapalle Municipality. In the
begining of the meeting Swamy
Vivekananda statue was
gralanded by V. Gavarraju,
President and other members of
the branch. The winners were
honoured at 'Navodya Public
School', Anakapalle on 12.1.2010
by the correspondent Shri
Saragadam Narasimham.

organised a programme on 26th
January, Republic day at
Nagarjuna awasam hostel for
poor boys at Marrigudem village
steel Shelves, Nalgonda district
nearly 75 kms from Hyderabad.

Kurali (Mohali) : Branch
organised the mega general
carrier guidance seminar in
collaboration with Lovely
Professional University,
Phagwara on 22.01.2010. Highly
qualified delegates from the
university headed by Prof. Dr.
Satish Menon H.O.D. Ext. Edu.
Admn. Reforms and many other
academic intellectuals of other
fields threw light on the various
available academic courses and
scopes for the students. Over
1200 students from 7 different
schools attended the seminar. S.
Jagmohan Singh Kang former
cabinet minister punjab was the
chief guest. Shri. S.C. Galhotra
organising secretary and Sh. H.R.
Narang Genereal secretary
attended the seminar on behalf
of the state.
Malerkotla : Branch
organized a declamation contest
among students of eight schools.
The topic was 'Effect of Global
Warming on living organism'. Sh.
Ashok Kumar Joshi, Principal
was the chief guest and Smt.
Tripta Chopra Lecturer Biology
presided over the function. Miss
Kumera Kanam from Al Falah
Public School got. 1st Position
and Miss Payushi Jain from Govt.
Sr. Girls School got. 2nd position
in the competition.

Hospital was the chief guest.
More than 50 members from 15
parishad families participated in
the celebrations. After lighting
bonfire they took part in the skill
games and folk dances. They
enjoyed the light refreshment
served at the end of the function.
The winner of the skill games were
duly honored with gifts and
mementos.

Dr. Kitchlu Ludhiana :
Branch celebrated Republic Day
2010 in association with BVP
Charitable Trust on 26.01.2010 at
Viklang Sahayta Kendra, Rishi
Nagar Ludhiana. National Tricolour
was unfurled and saluted. The
employees of the Kendra and
children from member families
presented patriotic songs, folk
dances, skit and the cultural
items. Shri Raj Kumar Jain of
Ludhiana Steel Rolling Mills was
the Chief Guest. The function was
presided over by Dr. Kuldeep
Chander Gupta. President, BVP
Charitable Trust. By virtue of kind
gesture of one member family, all
the employees of the mill
numbering about 50 were
presented with Shawls/lohis.
Another member family
sponsored laddoos and high tea.
Later on impressed by the works
of the Parishad, the family of Sh.
Raj Kumar Jain presented a
cheque of Rs. 1,00,000/- to the
