stationary INFANTRY target (sIt)
The SIT actuator is a lightweight, stand-alone infantry target lifter used on both portable and static firing ranges.
Available with Portable Ballistic Shield as shown.
Each unit has its own integrated wireless transceiver, which is ideal for situations
where the actuators are too far apart from each other to link them with control
wires. Once in place, the targets are individually activated by wireless control
using a hand held remote controller or through pre-programmed modes from
the main target system computer. SIT also has a MILES compatible interface
and/or a digital recording device.

The remote scoring capability of SIT eliminates the need to travel to and from the
target. State-of-the-art scoring and shot location analysis are accomplished with
patented LOMAH application or hit sensor, the Visual Projectile Location System
(VPLS). The hit sensor system may be set to drop the target when hit and remain
down, to drop down and raise the target again automatically, or to score hits
without dropping the target.
SIT allows for training to be done in severe conditions with an operational
temperature range from -20°F to 158°F and the ability to lift the target in winds up
to 35 mph.
The target lifting system may be configured for use in several configurations including pop up, sideways drop, swing
out, center rotating, and double and triple targets.
Each unit weighs 65 lbs and may be stacked four units high for storage.
