Detail: safety-snap-in socket
When it comes to pull-proof power connections, Expert Power Control 8012 comes in handy with its
safety-snap-in (ssi) sockets (IEC-C13). Through an internal lock mechanism, the ssi sockets prevent an
unintended release of the connected power cable.
The ssi sockets work with any standard IEC C14 plug, no special cables needed. When connected with the
ssi socket, the plug it is fastened safely. The connection can only be detached by pushing down the red
release button firmly to pull the plug from the ssi socket.
