During my one week there, I was
able to play five rounds of 18-hole
golf at five gorgeous golf courses,
one of which was the Banff Springs
Golf Club, the world’s most scenic
and challenging golf course.

To relax and rejuvenate, I went
for pampering spa sessions at
the Fairmont and Radium hot
spring pools.
On my way back to Calgary
International Airport, I saw some
of the world’s most spectacular
scenery - a scenic rocky mountain
paradise! This was a memorable
holiday experience which left me
with beautiful lifetime memories.

What do you think makes a perfect
holiday?

My idea of a perfect holiday would
be to spend it with the right people
(loved ones, family and friends), at
the right place (in exotic or dream
destinations), at the right time
(free from the stress of work, and
when the kids are on their school
holidays), and at the right price
(affordable and value-for-money).
Most importantly, I need to have the
QVI Club card and the QNET debit
card with me - then I’m all set for
the perfect vacation!

have ever stayed in have a rack
rate of US$150 to US$300 per
night. As a QVI Club member I
only pay a Usage Fee of US$150
for a full week (7N/8D) with my
family (4 persons) at QVI’s Home
Resorts & Limited Collection
Resorts. If I choose to stay at one
of XchangeWorld’s resorts, I pay
just an additional Xchange Fee of
US$99 on top of the US$150, for a
total of US$249 per week.

Tell us about your most memorable
holiday experience
It was during my golf vacation at
QVI Club’s Rocky Mountain Resorts
at Panorama Mountain Village,
British Columbia, located just a
few hours away from the town of
Banff, and Kootenay National Park,
Alberta, Canada.
On my way to the resort from
the airport, as we were passing
Banff National Park, an elk (the
largest deer in the world) emerged
from the dark, crossed the road,
stopped in front of my car, and
stared at me for a few minutes.
Displaying its enormous flattened
male antlers, it felt like it was
welcoming me to British Columbia.
After this ‘welcome gesture’, it
walked away and disappeared
into the dark. It was my first close
encounter with this large mammal,
and it felt so surreal!
My resort was in the middle of the
forest, accessible through a narrow
valley and surrounded by ski terrain
and the widely-acclaimed Grey
Wolf Golf Club, which is among the
top ten in Canada. From my room,
I could see the beautiful city of
Invermere, surrounded by amazing
lakes and mountains.

What do you like to do most when
on vacation?
I’d say it’s simply to have fun and
spend quality time with my family.
During the day, I would play golf
with fellow QVI Club members
while my wife and children shop
in the town nearby. At night, we’d
look for a place which serves good
food for dinner.
