Evidence by Student is a link the student PORTS site, where all students are enabled to have<br />

their own secure storage space, where they can create portfolios and resumes <strong>of</strong> their work. This<br />

feature is open to the public as decided by each individual student.<br />

CARS is organized through a shallow custom-designed web structure, which provides navigation<br />

into the SAKAI Course Management system for each course, where the Course Syllabus, Course<br />

Assignments and Course Matrix are collected.<br />

• PORTS is the online Student Portfolio System <strong>of</strong>fer the opportunity for each student to develop<br />

a resume and online portfolios <strong>of</strong> their work, which they develop independently as cumulative<br />

documents. PORTS also establishes a secure area for students to store their work-in-progress<br />

while they study at RWU. Individual Student Portfolios are open to the public for viewing where<br />

individual students allow access.<br />

Information for the SAAHP CYCLES is organized on an annual basis. The School <strong>of</strong> <strong>Architecture</strong>, Art and<br />

Historic Preservation CYCLES Self-Assessment System was presented to the ACSA Administrators<br />

Conference in Washington, DC in November 2010, in person by Dean White, <strong>Roger</strong> <strong>Williams</strong> University<br />

Instructional Design Staff. Then-Adjunct Faculty Member now Assistant Dean Gregory Laramie, 2 nd Year<br />

Co-Coordinator David Corbin and an extensive team <strong>of</strong> students from the second year <strong>Architecture</strong> class<br />

connected to the ACSA meeting via distance technology to present the work outlined above. SAAHP<br />

CYCLES has also been presented at SAKAI conference in Los Angeles in Spring 2011, and is the subject<br />

<strong>of</strong> an upcoming EDUCAUSE 2011 Conference session in Philadelphia October 19-21, 2011, which will be<br />

jointly presented by the SAAHP Deans, faculty participants, students and Instructional Design staff.<br />

o Students awareness <strong>of</strong> learning outcomes/pr<strong>of</strong>essional expectations
