S<strong>of</strong>tware exporters shall register themselves with Electronics<br />

and S<strong>of</strong>tware EPC. Exporters <strong>of</strong> <strong>14</strong> specific services listed at<br />

Sl. No. 22 <strong>of</strong> Appendix 2 <strong>of</strong> HBPv1 are required to register<br />

themselves with Services EPC. Other service exporters shall<br />

register themselves with Federation <strong>of</strong> Indian Export<br />

Organisations (FIEO).<br />

Government shall promote establishment <strong>of</strong> Common Facility<br />

Centers, in State and District level towns, for use by homebased<br />

service providers, particularly in areas like Engineering<br />

& Architectural Design, Multi-media operations, S<strong>of</strong>tware<br />

developers etc. to draw in a vast multitude <strong>of</strong> home-based<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essionals into services export arena.<br />

3.12 SERVED FROM INDIA SCHEME (SFIS)<br />

Objective <strong>of</strong> SFIS is to accelerate growth in export <strong>of</strong> services<br />

so as to create a powerful and unique ‘Served From India’<br />

brand, instantly recognized and respected world over.<br />

Indian Service Providers, <strong>of</strong> services listed in Appendix 41 <strong>of</strong><br />

HBPv1, who have free foreign exchange earning <strong>of</strong> at least<br />

Rs. 10 lakhs in current financial year will be eligible for Duty<br />

Credit Scrip. For Individual Indian Service Providers,<br />

minimum free foreign exchange earnings would be Rs 5<br />

Lakhs.<br />

Services and Service Providers as listed in Para 3 .6.1 <strong>of</strong><br />

HBPv1 shall not be entitled for benefits under the SFIS<br />

scheme.<br />
