Next a preliminary 3D simulation was run with heaving. The top and side views of the wing are<br />

shown in Figures 3-76 and 3-77, respectively.<br />

The conditions used to run the case were the same as those <strong>for</strong> the 2D cases given in Table 3-5.<br />

The oscillating conditions used were: maximum velocity = 10 m/s, frequency = 20 rad/s.<br />

This case was with the wing heaving up and down. The lift and drag coefficients obtained <strong>for</strong> the<br />

heaving case are shown in Figures 3-78 and 3-79.<br />
