Admission to 1 st Year BA / B.Sc Hons. and General Courses in the Session 2011-12
1. Forms for admission to 1 st year BA / BSc Honours and General Courses can be procured from 06/06/11
to 11/06/11 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
2. BA Hons., BSc Hons. & General Course (Day & Morning) Admission Forms are distinct and are of
different colour.
3. Filled up original form need not be submitted. But one Xerox copy of filled up Admission Form along
with HS & Madhyamik /Eqiv.Exam. Marksheet is to be submitted for checking of Grade Point and
acknowledgement of receipt.
4. Papers mentioned in point 3 are to be submitted at the same counter from 06.06.2011 to 11.06.2011 &
on 13.06.2011 between 11-30 a.m. and 2-30 p.m.
5. All Hons. Admission will be made on counseling basis. However, Direct Admission to BSc Hons. in
Microbiology, Computer Science, Nutrition & B.A. B. Sc Economics Honours will be made as
specified in the Prospectus.
6. At the time of counseling all Hons. Subjects are open to a candidate subject to eligibility and
availability of seats in the subject opted for.
7. Candidates will be called to the counseling table according to Grade Point mentioned in the Merit List.
8. Any error / discrepancy in the Merit List is to be brought to the notice of the Authority within the
stipulated time.
9. Order of Admission by counseling: (1) PH (2) ST (3) SC (4) General,
10. The date of Direct Admission, publication of Merit List and date of Counseling will be notified in due
course.
11. Selected candidates will have to produce all original testimonials (including Caste Certificate, if any).at
the time of Admission.
12. Hostel Admission on Merit basis will be done on the date of Hons. Admission. Vacant seats, if any,
may be filled up afterwards but on the basis of distance & mode of journey.
