our innovation moves the world

For over twenty years, Wabash National Corporation
has helped define the transportation industry
through the development of new technologies and
demonstrated leadership. Our core values focused
on: technological innovation; progressive, low-cost
manufacturing; and a commitment to our customers’
success, have created a strong foundation for our
continued growth.
At Wabash National, our innovative thinking and
expertise are fueled by an understanding of our
customers’ operations. Working closely with North
America’s most successful trucking fleets allows us
to develop new technologies and trailer designs that
improve fleet operations. This type of understanding
and first-hand knowledge enables us to drive some
of the most significant innovations in the industry.
We are Wabash National. Watch what we do next.

Wabash National opened its doors on April 15, 1985,
staffed by twenty associates, all working toward the
goal of building five semi trailers a day. Determined
to design and manufacture a higher quality trailer,
and focused on solving customer problems, a commitment
to our customers’ success was established
that would never change.
From the first fiberglass trailer constructed in June of
1985, Wabash National began to establish a
reputation for manufacturing trailers that surpassed
industry standards. Early in 1986, the aluminum plate
trailer was introduced. The new design, which improved
durability and provided greater cargo area, was a
tremendous success that quickly elevated Wabash
National to a leadership position in the industry.
By the early 1990s, Wabash National had experienced
rapid growth and had become the world’s largest
manufacturer of semi trailers. In 1991, Wabash
National became the first publicly traded semi trailer
manufacturer (NYSE: WNC).
In 1996, the composite DuraPlate® trailer was introduced.
Marked as one of the most successful launches
of any trailer in the market, the DuraPlate trailer was
quickly adopted by North America’s largest trucking
fleets. The trailer’s revolutionary composite design
extended equipment lifecycles and further reduced
fleet maintenance costs. Early in 2003, Wabash
National introduced the next generation DuraPlate
trailer, the DuraPlate HD. Specifically designed for
high-abuse applications, the DuraPlate HD model
elevated industry performance expectations.
In 2006, Wabash National acquired Transcraft
Corporation, the largest manufacturer of platform
trailers in North America. The acquisition allowed us
to expand our product offering and better serve the
diverse needs of our customers.
Through ongoing innovations in dry freight vans,
refrigerated vans, platform trailers, and intermodal
equipment, Wabash National has continued to raise
the standard by which others are measured. Our
dedication to delivering performance through
innovation will ensure that Wabash National remains
at the forefront of transportation technology – today
and tomorrow.

At Wabash National, our innovation extends
beyond product development. Utilizing advanced
manufacturing technologies and progressive
production processes are an integral part of our
pursuit of operational excellence.
Through a continuous improvement philosophy,
we are constantly seeking out ways to make
manufacturing processes more efficient. By
focusing on the areas of safety, quality,
productivity, and cost reduction, we are able to
drive ongoing improvements throughout our
operations. Wabash National leads the industry
in the use of automation technology and lean
manufacturing practices. This focus ensures that
we will continue to provide world-class quality
products, best-in-class service, and on-time
delivery for our customers.

Engineered for long-lasting durability and superior performance, Wabash National’s line of dry
freight vans, refrigerated vans, platform trailers, and intermodal equipment are well known for
their innovative, low-maintenance designs and high-quality standards.
Duraplate® dry freight vans
Introduced in 1996, the DuraPlate dry van has revolutionized the
transportation industry. The trailer’s composite sidewall design
maximizes cargo capacity and provides unmatched durability
and performance in a wide variety of freight applications.
DuraPlate® HD Dry freight Vans
As an extension of the DuraPlate model, the DuraPlate HD
trailer incorporates additional protection in the lower sidewall
area to provide increased damage resistance in high-abuse and
heavy-haul applications, as well as general freight applications.

ArcticLite® Refrigerated Vans
Wabash National’s ArcticLite is one of lightest refrigerated
vans available on the market today. Combined with
its superior thermal efficiency, the ArcticLite provides
exceptional performance in refrigerated freight applications.
Transcraft® platform Trailers
Transcraft manufactures a number of platform trailer
models to meet the needs of specific freight applications.
The Transcraft Eagle® is one of the leading flatbed
trailers in the market. Available in normal, heavy-duty,
and extreme-duty packages, the Eagle’s innovative design
provides superior payload capacity and exceptional durability.

Working with customers to understand their specific
freight applications and day-to-day trailer utilization is
where Wabash National truly excels. We understand
that one trailer specification doesn’t work for all
fleets. By interacting with our customers at multiple
functional levels, we can identify trailer requirements
and recommend solutions that reduce maintenance
costs and improve equipment utilization. Whether it
is cross-country truckload hauls; multiple product,
less-than-truckload shipments; grocery products;
intermodal movement; or city delivery applications,
Wabash National has the experience and the expertise
to improve a fleet's bottom line.
At Wabash National, customer satisfaction extends
beyond the design and development of new trailers.
We are committed to providing ongoing customer
support throughout the life of our products. We
maintain an extensive North American sales, parts,
and service network consisting of direct sales
representatives, independent dealers, and Wabash
National Trailer Centers, a wholly owned subsidiary
of retail sales locations. Through this network,
Wabash National is able to provide customers with
national, regional, and local assistance - whenever
and wherever they need it.

Wabash National is committed to providing shareholder
value through increasing returns, strong financial
performance, and continued market share growth. Our
corporate leadership team has developed strategic
growth initiatives that will allow us to capitalize on
new opportunities, both in the marketplace and on the
plant floor. Whether it is through the utilization of new
technologies, product line expansion, or penetration
of new market segments, Wabash National is dedicated
to delivering continued resultsfor our shareholders.
Workforce development is an important part of
Wabash National’s commitment to excellence.
Associate development initiatives are implemented
throughout all levels and functional areas of the
organization. Our associates are provided with access
to a wide range of on-the-job training, technical
certifications, and continuing education programs.
We feel that ongoing investment in education and
training is essential to the success of Wabash National,
our associates, and our community.
