Park Presbyterian Church, Houston, Harris County, Texas. It later became<br />

Trinity Presbyterian Church. She died on 17 Jan 2002 in Round Rock,<br />

Williamson County, Texas.<br />

67. ii. Elizabeth Anne <strong>Sharpe</strong>[89] was born on 09 Aug 1929 in Little Rock, Pulaski<br />

County, Arkansas[89]. She married Andrew Albert Jumper on 14 Aug 1948 in<br />

Central Park Presbyterian Church, Houston, Harris County, Texas.[90]. She<br />

died on 28 Dec 1973 in Saint Louis, Missouri[89].<br />

60. iii. Dwight Albert <strong>Sharpe</strong>[91] was born on 24 Jun 1939 in Ballinger, Runnels<br />

County, Texas[92]. He married Suzanne Margaret Boggess on 30 Sep 1962<br />

in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana.<br />

72. Harry Simons <strong>Sharpe</strong>-8 (Henry Seth-7, Sarah Lavenna-6, Lansing-5, Bradford-4, Mary-3,<br />

Mary-2, William-1) was born on 19 Dec 1904 in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas[75].<br />

He died on 23 Sep 1977 in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas[76].<br />

Dee Dee was born in 1904, the year the nation elected Theodore (Teddy)Roosevelt to the<br />

Presidency of the United States. Marlene Dietrich was born in Germany, destined to<br />

become a world famous film actress. Jack London wrote "The Sea-Wolf," and G. K.<br />

Chesterton wrote "TheNapoleon of Notting Hill." Work began on the Panama Canal.<br />

TheBroadway subway open in New York City, and a policeman arrested awoman there for<br />

smoking a cigarette in public.<br />

Dee Dee was born the very same year as was John Sirica (3/19/1904 -8/14/1992), the<br />

United States district court judge that presided at the trial of Watergate burglars (1973), an<br />

event that toppled thePresidency of Richard M. Nixon.<br />

Dee Dee, as he was known, served in the United States Navy during World War II. After<br />

the war, he returned to Georgetown. This was his hometown and the place of his residence<br />

his entire life.<br />

He and his wife, Lois, owned and operated the Acme Cleaners andLaunderers located on<br />

the west side of the town square where theWilliamson County Courthouse was the<br />

centerpiece of the square. They were affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church of<br />

Georgetown.<br />

They lived in the old <strong>Sharpe</strong> home at 1005 Main Street with his parents, Papa and Mama<br />

<strong>Sharpe</strong>. It was all one big community with three generations living together. It wasn't until<br />

after Papa <strong>Sharpe</strong> died in 1951 that the home was sold to the First Baptist Church next<br />

door and a new home was constructed at 1601 Olive, just south of theSouthwestern<br />

Methodist University.<br />

This home eventually was inherited by their two sons, Harry and Johnny. Johnny bought<br />
