Texas at Dallas on August 12-13, 2002. He held down ajob at Acoustic<br />

Dimensions while a college student. This is thecompany where his Mom<br />

served as an office manager.<br />

Carol's middle name, Anne, is her mother's middle name. She is awonderful and inspiring<br />

niece. Her secondary education was in SaintLouis County. Her college education, at the<br />

University of Missouri inColumbia, Missouri, prepared her for the high school<br />

teachingprofession.<br />

The United States Census reported our nation's population the year ofCarol's birth to be<br />

about 179,245,000. U. S. President Dwight D.Eisenhower, in his annual State of the Union<br />

message to Congress,proclaimed that 1960 promised to be the most prosperous year in<br />

ourhistory. He projected a $200,000,000 surplus in the <strong>Gov</strong>ernment Budget!However, the<br />

AFL-CIO Labor Union Council proclaimed that rescissionloomed on our horizons. Our flag<br />

of the United States became a 50star flag in 1960, recognizing the 1959 entrance into the<br />

union of theState of Hawaii. "Ben Hur" was the Academy Award winner for bestmovie in<br />

1960 and its star, Charles Heston was best actor in it. Andmost sadly, Casey Stengel,<br />

manager of the New York Yankee baseballteam since 1949 was fired!<br />

Her veterinarian husband, Bruce, established his practice in Fulton,Missouri, where Carol<br />

settled in on a long and successful teachingcareer in the public high school there. In time,<br />

the family acquiredtwo hundred seventy five acres of farm land and raised cattle,<br />

amongother agricultural pursuits. They are very active in the BaptistChurch.<br />

Bruce was ordained as a deacon and they both held leadership positionsin several areas<br />

(e.g. Sunday School directors/teachers, StewardshipChairman, Trustee Chairman,<br />

Personnel Committee. Chair, etc.). At onepoint Carol was considered a staff member, in<br />

that the church paid herfor leading choruses with guitar on Sunday mornings in the<br />

earlyservice.<br />
