Peter was born the year that the Lerner and Loewe musical ''<strong>My</strong> FairLady'' opened on<br />
Broadway on March 15, 1956. That musical went on tobecome the longest running<br />
Broadway musical in its day, ending in Juneof 1962. It so happened that I was in New York<br />
City on business andattended the very last showing of that long run.<br />

Peter achieved a bachelors and a masters degree in social work andcounseling. He also<br />
was trained as a pilot in the United States AirForce, serving later in the Air National Guard.<br />
He, Nancy and theboys moved to the Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas about 1990.<br />
Heworked a several positions in his field of social work, then wascalled to active duty in<br />
2001.<br />
In 2003, he returned to his family in Richardson, Texas where he wastook up a new position<br />
for a company as a pilot and also as apersonnel manager ... a real blend of his experiences<br />
and expertise.He was unfortunate to contract a malignancy. However, he wasfortunate to<br />
be in the military on that occasion, so the <strong>Gov</strong>ernmentmedical care took are of all the<br />
provision and expense for it. Heconcluded the experience with a clean bill of health.<br />
Peter and their family have been active members and leaders in theCrossPointe Community<br />
Church, Carrollton, Dallas County, Texas. Peterhas served several times as an elected<br />
elder in that congregation. Itis a constituent member of the Evangelical Presbyterian<br />
Churchdenomination, a development off the former United Presbyterian Church,USA.<br />
Peter's father gave leadership to the forming of thatdenomination circa 1980.<br />
Along the way, Peter established quite a career in the United StatesAir Force. He entered<br />
the USAF Reserves in Missouri and trained to bea jet fighter pilot. He served some active<br />
duty <strong>from</strong> time to time,but most of his service has been in the Reserves. He was honored<br />
