c. the appropriate Assessment fees for the <strong>Motor</strong> Vehicle Transaction Recovery Fund or<br />
continuously maintain a bond, and the “<strong>Motor</strong> Vehicle <strong>Dealer</strong> Bond” form, DSD-2, provided the<br />
applicant has not been subject <strong>of</strong> a claim against a bond or fund for three consecutive years.<br />
d. a copy <strong>of</strong> your Buyer’s Order form, for approval as outlined in the <strong>Motor</strong> Vehicle <strong>Dealer</strong><br />
Licensing Laws. If the dealer charges a processing fee or dealer business license tax, both fees<br />
must be identified and have a blank space for the amount <strong>of</strong> the fee to be listed on the Buyer’s<br />
Order.<br />
e. application for any supplemental dealer license certificates or distributor branch, or factory license<br />
certificate you may require (see procedures DLR-120 and DLR-125 for information on these types<br />
<strong>of</strong> licenses).<br />
f. form DSD-7 “Application for Certificate <strong>of</strong> Qualification/Salesperson's License” with one or two<br />
year fees.<br />
g. Written pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> local zoning approval for the sale and display <strong>of</strong> motor vehicles, must accompany<br />
the applications. For T&M, trailer and motorcycle dealers, submit the “Certificate <strong>of</strong> Zoning<br />
Compliance” form, DSD-65A.<br />
h. form MVDB-21 “Criminal History Check” (REQUIRED <strong>of</strong> all applicants)<br />
1.2.5 Franchised <strong>Dealer</strong>s<br />
Franchised <strong>Dealer</strong>s must submit:<br />
a. a copy <strong>of</strong> your franchise agreement or original letter with copy <strong>of</strong> the manufacturers or<br />
distributor’s service agreement for each line-make <strong>of</strong> the vehicle you sell<br />
Note: for Franchised dealers, all warranty work must be performed within a reasonable distance <strong>of</strong><br />
the place <strong>of</strong> business.<br />
b. application for salesperson’s license for each person who will be operating as a salesperson (see<br />
procedure DLR-130 for information on salespersons license)<br />
1.2.6 Independent Vehicle <strong>Dealer</strong>s<br />
Independent Vehicle <strong>Dealer</strong>s must submit:<br />
a. an application for salesperson’s license for each person who will be operating as a salesperson (see<br />
procedure DLR-130) for information on salespersons’ licenses)<br />
1.2.7 Distributors<br />
Distributors must submit:<br />
a. a written agreement from each manufacturer covering any new vehicles(s)<br />
b. for each line-make <strong>of</strong> vehicle you distribute one copy <strong>of</strong> your franchise or sales agreement must be<br />
furnished 60 days prior to the date <strong>of</strong>fered<br />
c. application for a distributor representative license for each person who will be operating as a<br />
distributor representative (see procedure DLR-130 for information on distributor representative<br />
licenses.)<br />
1.2.8 Manufacturers<br />
Manufacturers must, submit:<br />
