5. “The acts of virtue, the rectitude and the sincerity of the Ibaadah<br />

are all bestowals and charity conferred by the Gracious Master<br />

(Maula-e-Kareem). Indeed, it is very surprising, unintelligent and<br />

absurd to expect to be remunerated for the gifts He bestows to<br />

you. How can a faqir (beggar) who acquires charity from a person<br />

around and demands the benefactor to compensate him? The<br />

absurdity is self-evident.” 409<br />

Refutation<br />

Jannah or Paradise is another great blessing of Allah that<br />

Shaytaan wishes to deprive the Sufis from.<br />

Allah says in the Qur’aan: “Allah has promised to the believers,<br />

men and women, gardens through which rivers flow to dwell<br />

therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of Paradise.<br />

But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allah. That is the<br />

supreme success.” 410<br />

The Messenger of Allah said, “…if you ask Allah for anything,<br />

ask Him for Firdaus, for it is the last part of Paradise and the<br />

highest part of Paradise, and at its top there is the Throne of the<br />

Beneficent.” 411<br />

The Messenger of Allah encouraged asking Allah for Paradise<br />

and did not consider it absurd, unintelligent or deficient. What is<br />

absurd is the self-contradiction of the Sufi claim that worship is<br />

not done with the desire for Paradise, and then for them to say…<br />

“Khwaajah Abdul Wahid narrates the following episode: “One<br />

night I was overcome with sleep and I missed all my auraad and<br />

waza’if (Dhikr). In a dream, I saw the most beautiful girl<br />

approaching me. Never had I seen such beauty. She was dressed<br />

in silk garments. Her shoes were reciting Tasbeeh and her<br />
