Our motion controls and drives
feature powerful diagnostic
capabilities (that can be accessed
remotely) to aid in quickly resolving
both machine and control system
problems. Analog outputs on the
drives are provided for monitoring
internal siginals and variables.
Removable personality modules
make it easy to replace drives.
Simply pop an old drive out, put its
personality module into a
replacement unit, hook the new
drive up and run. Rexroth Indramat
even builds EEPROM devices into the
motors to communicate diagnostics
and automatically send default
parameters to the drives, avoiding
extensive tuning.
Simplified setup and
homing

feedback mechanisms that
remember position information even
if power is lost. This eliminates the
need for homing and makes setup
