Director
The Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce operates in the area of 25 municipalities
of Southern Finland. Saija (LL.M. Helsinki, MBA London) joined the team in January
2010. She is the Director of Espoo office responsible especially of the environmental
services and sustainable development in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. A part of
Saija’s work is also to facilitate international trade and establish contacts between
companies all over the world. Previously she has been the Chairman of the City
Board in Espoo.

Bilgen graduated from Math department and she has a master degree in Econometrics.
She has been working in Trabzon CCI as International Project Coordinator since
2006. Between 2008-2009, she worked in EU BUSINESS SUPPORT CENTER (ABİGEM) .
During this time, she worked as project expert giving consultancy to SMEs, Universities,
NGOs and other institutions on several subjects.
Attachée - International Department
Sabrina joined the International Department of the Chamber of Commerce of the
Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg in April 2008. Since then, she has worked on the European
project “Enterprise Europe Network”, which has 600 member organisations
across the EU and beyond (50 countries) to help companies seize business opportunities
and find business contacts in the EU. Sabrina’s mission is to provide advice
to SMEs on EU market and answer to enquiries from SMEs on several topics (custom
problems, search of partners, company list etc). Besides, she enables companies to
establish sustainable partnership relations by organising b2b meetings on international
trade fairs in Europe and beyond during the b2fair matchmaking events.
Head of International Affairs
Shaikha joined Ajman Chamber in March 2005 as a Legal Affairs Assistant. She organized
the launch of Tomooh SME’s loan Program in 2007, including giving guidance
and support for applicants. She established the Corporate Excellence Center in
2008. She supervised the participation of the Chamber in Ajman Excellence Program
for the first time in 2009 where the Chamber received the 1st place in strategy
and the 4th place in the implementation of the EFQM model. Shaikha supervised
the preparation of Ajman Chamber for ISO certificate 9001:2008. In 2010 she was
promoted Head of Networking section supervising business groups, managing and
organizing business networking events. Just recently Shaikha was reassigned to
International Affairs and promoted to International Affairs Department Director.
