TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE BIDDERS<br />

1. The tenderer must be registered and must have an experience of at least one year of door to door<br />

garbage collection/sweeping in any organization/Institute/<strong>University</strong>/Institute of National importance<br />

such as SGPGI, National Institute of Technology etc..<br />

2. Every bidder/tenderer can download the bid document from the university website www.rmlau.ac.in<br />

and the bid document cost Rs. 100/- must be annexed by the bidder in the form of demand draft drawn<br />

in favour of “Finance Officer, <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Ram</strong> <strong>Manohar</strong> <strong>Lohia</strong> <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong>, U.P.”<br />

payable at <strong>Faizabad</strong>. Otherwise the bid shall not be considered. The bid document can also be<br />

obtained from Store Purchase Section by depositing Rs. 100/- in cash.<br />

3. The bidder must quote the rate on monthly basis. The rate should be inclusive of all such as the cost of<br />

items/tools, materials services and taxes etc as applicable. The work shall be awarded on turn key<br />

basis.<br />

4. A sum of rupees 20000/-(refundable) must be annexed by the bidder in the form of demand draft<br />

drawn in favour of “Finance Officer, <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Ram</strong> <strong>Manohar</strong> <strong>Lohia</strong> <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong>,<br />

U.P.” payable at <strong>Faizabad</strong> as earnest money deposit (EMD) . Any tender not accompanied with EMD<br />

shall not be considered.<br />

5. The payment will be made after successful and satisfactory work verification by the Designated<br />

Officer of <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Ram</strong> <strong>Manohar</strong> <strong>Lohia</strong> <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong>, U.P.<br />

6. For payment the qualified bidder/tenderer has to submit the bills in triplicate copies to “Registrar,<br />

<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Ram</strong> <strong>Manohar</strong> <strong>Lohia</strong> <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong>, U.P.” on monthly basis.<br />

7. In case, the performance of the party is not satisfactory, the <strong>University</strong> shall have right to deduct the<br />

appropriate amount of money from the submitted bill.<br />

8. Bidder will submit alongwith his bid a detailed plan for the execution of work showing details of<br />

tools, plants, machinery and the human resources employed for the work.<br />

9. No hidden charges should be there.<br />

10. No extra payment other than amount quoted by the Bidder will be paid under any circumstances.<br />

11. Any dispute from either side will be subject to jurisdiction of Hon'ble Court, <strong>Faizabad</strong>.<br />

12. Any dispute arising out of any reason under the work-order, the decision of the Vice Chancellor will<br />

be final and binding on all parties concerned.<br />

13. The successful tenderer shall be required to deposit a sum of Rs. 30000/- (Rs. Thirty thousand only) as<br />

security deposit with the university and his EMD of Rs. 20000/- (Rs. Twenty thousand only) shall also<br />

remain deposited as security deposit. Thus an amount of Rs. 50000/- (Rs Fifty thousand only) shall<br />

remain deposited with <strong>University</strong> during the operation of contract. It may be distinctly be understood<br />

that security money will not carry any interest.<br />

14. The <strong>University</strong> reserves the right to cancel the contract without giving any notice and any reason<br />

thereof at any time.<br />

15. The <strong>University</strong> reserves the right to cancel a bid or all bids without assigning any reason thereof.<br />

16. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a contract with <strong>University</strong> within 07 (seven) days<br />

from issuance of acceptance letter.<br />

17. The bidder shall be solely responsible for due observance of all legal liabilities under labour & other<br />

law prevailing state/country and all acts and for this purpose bidder shall indemnify university for the<br />

same.

Sweeping of Roads and their sides as per schedule given<br />
