Assembly Instructions<br />
CAUTION<br />
Do not operate machine with deck tilt-up<br />
pivot joint unlocked.<br />
DANGER<br />
Do not operate the mower with deck in tiltup<br />
position. Do not move the tractor with<br />
the deck in the tilt-up position.<br />
CHECK MOWER BLADE CONDITION, SHARP-<br />
NESS, AND SECURITY OF MOUNTING<br />
The blade mounting nut should be tightened to<br />
60 ft-lb (81.3 N⋅m). If blade sharpening is required,<br />
refer to CHECKING/SERVICING for Sharpen<br />
Mower Blades in Maintenance Instructions.<br />
ADJUST MOWER CUTTING HEIGHT, IF RE-<br />
QUIRED<br />
Position the hitch pins in the four deck support pins.<br />
Refer to the “Cutting Height Adjustment” decal on<br />
the deck gearbox cover.<br />
PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES<br />
called for on the MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE<br />
CHART in Maintenance Instructions.<br />
