The upgrades and de-silting of the drain and the installation of
sediment traps around the Open Cut Workshop were completed
in May 2012
The de-silting of the Eagles Nest Dam has
not been carried out. Please submit a
timetable for the completion of this activity
August 2012 De-silting of Eagles Nest Dam commenced late during the
2011-2012 reporting period. Works expected to be complete by
August 2012. See Section 3.6 of the AEMR.
Continue to monitor the water leaking from
Hunter Tailing Pit into the C11 Dam and
advise of any changes to water quality in
this area.
Ongoing Monthly inspections continue to monitor. V-notched weir and
sediment catchment structure has been installed to capture and
accumulate sediment. Water from Hunter Tailings Pit is
contained within C11 dam.
