<strong>Co</strong>nceived in the fire of a homebrewer’s heart, Jester King was birthed by brothers Jeff<br />
Stuffings and Michael Steffing in the early fall of 2010 amongst the hills in Southwest <strong>Austin</strong>.<br />
Ambitious from the start, the brothers made their commercial debut with a session beer, wearing<br />
the moniker <strong>Co</strong>mmercial Suicide. It was anything but. They followed this shortly with the wildly<br />
popular Rye IPA Wytchmaker, a beer that bars could rarely keep on tap. The brothers could<br />
not fail. Recently, they have moved their original lineup to farmhouse versions (Farmhouse<br />
Wytchmaker, Farmhouse Black Metal, etc.), in part won a court ruling against the Texas Alcoholic<br />
Beverage <strong>Co</strong>mmission, and brewed a second collaboration beer with gypsy brewer, Mikkeller,<br />
called <strong>Beer</strong> Geek Rodeo / Whiskey Rodeo / Weasel Rodeo. Also, they are now a certified organic<br />
producer under the USDA’s National Organic Program.
