3.5 Description of the electrical installations
Overview
Description
The electrical installations of the positioner consist of the following components:
• Cable set
• Junction box, control cables, 2nd RDC
• Connector panel
The cables are protected against damage from external influences (e.g. weld
spatter, etc.) by means of flexible tubes. The flexible tubes also ensure that the
cables are guided without kinking throughout the entire motion range of the positioner.
The connecting cables are connected via the connector panel and the junction
box in the base frame.
