e. SVFR Arrival and Departure Routes. Weather minimums for SVFR routes<br />
are listed below.<br />

f. Arrival Routes<br />
(1) LCAC Arrival Route. Arriving aircraft remain one (1) mile offshore<br />
until turning in<strong>bo</strong>und for the LCAC Facility. Fly north of the LCAC<br />
Facility and contact tower prior to crossing the I-5 Freeway for SVFR<br />
clearance into Class D Surface Area. With clearance, fly south of Edson Range<br />
to MASS-3. (Rwy 3 - make straight in. Rwy 21 - enter right downwind.)<br />
Aircraft not in receipt of a SVFR clearance will remain outside of Class D<br />
surface area to the northwest of the LCAC Facility, until a clearance is<br />
received.<br />
(2) Intersection Arrival Route. Report the Basilone/Roblar<br />
intersection for SVFR clearance into Class D Surface Area. With clearance,<br />
fly over Basilone Road for pattern entry. (Rwy 3 - enter a left downwind.<br />
Rwy 21 - enter right base).<br />
(3) North Initial Arrival Route. Report North Initial for SVFR<br />
clearance into Class D Surface Area. With clearance, proceed direct Lake<br />
O’Neill. (Rwy 3 - enter a left downwind. Rwy 21 - make straight in).<br />
g. Departure Routes<br />
(1) VORTAC Departure Route. Pass south of MASS-3 direct to Stuart<br />
Mesa Housing. Pass south of the housing complex and proceed to OCN VORTAC.<br />
Report leaving Class D Surface Area.<br />
(2) Intersection Departure Route. Proceed direct to Basilone Road.<br />
Turn left to Basilone/Roblar intersection. Report the intersection clear.<br />
(3) Pt. Canyon Departure Route. Proceed to Pt. Canyon remain west of<br />
the hospital. Report Pt. Canyon clear<br />
4. Temporary Alternate Landing Area. The Temporary Alternate Landing Area<br />
(TALA), established in the Ysidora Basin (65631 79722) for helicopter operations<br />
only, is active only when MCAS, <strong>Camp</strong> <strong>Pendleton</strong> is open. Use of the<br />
TALA shall be minimized between 0600 and 1100 during the endangered Least<br />
Bells Vireo Nesting season (15 March to 15 September).<br />
