which indicate that in mid-1992, Živojin Ivanović signed documents permitting twenty<br />

persons in uniform to travel from Tikveš and Ilok.<br />

1502. The Trial Chamber now turns to the evidence it has received regarding the status of<br />

Radoslav Kostić, who according to Witness JF-036 introduced some of the members of a<br />

special unit, billeted at the Beli Manastir SUP building, to the witness’s colleague, as<br />

reviewed above. Witness JF-036 testified that the DB from Belgrade had appointed Radoslav<br />

Kostić to the region of SAO SBWS and that he reported directly to Belgrade. 2881 The officers<br />

of the DB Osijek were subordinate to Kostić. He also co-ordinated the chain of command<br />

between the DB Beli Manastir and the DB in Sombor. 2882 The witness saw Kostić on several<br />

occasions in Baranja in 1991 when he came to see an individual who worked in the same<br />

office as the witness. 2883 According to the witness, Kostić occupied an intelligence gathering<br />

role within the DB. 2884<br />

1503. Witness JF-031, a Serb from Knin municipality, 2885 testified that sometime during<br />

1991 he met Radoslav Kostić in Fruška Gora. Kostić had previously been a police chief in<br />

Darda, and the witness believed him to be a Colonel in the DB. When Kostić introduced<br />

himself to the witness, he was with Simatović and Stanišić, and was wearing the same<br />

camouflage uniform as the members of the unit. 2886<br />

1504. According to an unsigned and undated intelligence report, 2887 the DB and Serbian<br />

MUP would, on 4 <strong>May</strong> 1996 during the laying of a wreath at the monument to Radoslav<br />

Kostić at Kula, present various awards and decorations, including to Radoslav Kostić. 2888<br />

1505. At the start of the 1997 Kula ceremony, Stanišić laid a wreath on a grave with the<br />

inscription: Radoslav Kostić, 1948-1994. 2889 During the Kula ceremony, Simatović stated that<br />
