addressed a combat report to the Serbian MUP, for the attention of “J. Stanišić”. 4160 On 31<br />

July 1995, the RSK MUP Special Units Administration informed the Serbian MUP Police<br />

administration of the wounding of five persons on <strong>30</strong> July 1995. 4161<br />

1993. According to an intercept of a telephone conversation where, inter alia, fighting in<br />

Velika Kladuša was discussed, an unknown “Speaker C” stated that Legija and Božović were<br />

now trained and could be “inserted”, so that they experience combat a bit. “Speaker C” further<br />

said: “in Kladuša, which we have liberated, we did not take a single of their corpses”. In this<br />

conversation, unknown “Speaker A” refers to “Speaker C” as “Jovica”. 4162<br />

1994. The Trial Chamber will now move to the evidence received in relation to the role of<br />

the Accused in setting up radio surveillance and collecting intelligence during Operation<br />

Pauk. Aco Drača testified that Simatović came to Petrova Gora after the arrival of the convoy<br />

with equipment and instructors, and left for Plješevica the next day. 4163 The purpose of his<br />

visit was to upgrade the radio reconnaissance system at Magarčevac-Petrova Gora and<br />

Čelavac-Plješevica. 4164 In the period between October and December 1994, Drača<br />

occasionally met Simatović at Petrova Gora and they exchanged relevant intelligence<br />

information. 4165<br />

1995. Mladen Karan testified that Simatović was in charge of an electronic surveillance<br />

group stationed at Petrova Gora, where the witness saw him on approximately three<br />

occasions, and that his function was evidenced by his headphones and specially equipped<br />

vehicle. 4166 The witness did not know whether materiel and technical equipment - “MTS”-<br />

was sent to Velika Kladuša, but electronic surveillance equipment from Serbia was installed<br />

at the site. 4167 In his capacity as chief of security of the 21st Corps the witness went to<br />

Topusko several times during the Pauk Operation and prior to Operation Storm, but never<br />
