1770. Petar Djukić, RSK chief police inspector from 15 March 1993 to 1 July 1996, 3531<br />

testified that on 16 February 1993, Arkan in conjunction with RSK forces under the command<br />

of Miroljub Vujović, Secretary of MoD’s Vukovar Department, and Vujović’s superior,<br />

Assistant Minister of Defence Milan Milanović a.k.a. Mrgud, took over the RSK MUP<br />

building in an effort to remove its leaders because they suspected them of cooperating with<br />

the Serbian DB. 3532 On 15 March 1993, Lončar was in command of Arkan’s unit. 3533 In April<br />

1993, Martić announced that “Arkan, and three other active inspectors of the Serbian MUP”<br />

from the SJB were banned from entering the region of the Bosnian-Serb Republic. 3534<br />

1771. On two occasions in 1992 and 1993, Witness C-015, a Serb from Croatia, 3535<br />

requested protection from Mrgud to carry out his duties when working for the SAO SBWS<br />

authorities, and was given Legija and a number of Arkan’s soldiers. 3536 When the witness<br />

encountered certain problems with the Yugoslav Border Police in carrying out his duties,<br />

Arkan was informed by one of his men of these problems. Shortly thereafter, Arkan arrived<br />

and disarmed the Yugoslav Border police, and helped the witness complete his tasks. 3537<br />

1772. The Trial Chamber will now review the evidence on specific operations.<br />

SAO SBWS 1991<br />

1773. The Trial Chamber received evidence with regard to the Prosecution’s allegation that<br />

the Accused directed the involvement of the SDG in the SAO SBWS in 1991, which included<br />

a number of military operations as set out in chapter 3.2.6, through documentary evidence and<br />

through the testimony of Borislav Bogunović, Witness JF-0<strong>30</strong>, Witness C-1118, Borislav<br />
