1680. The Trial Chamber will finally consider the training of other forces at the Skelani<br />

camp. Considering VRS reports, 3339 the Trial Chamber finds that members of the Unit trained<br />

members of the VRS, including the Skelani Battalion, at the Skelani camp. The training<br />

included exercises for physical condition and endurance, firing practice, and tactical exercises<br />

and lasted for a period of between one and three months. Further recalling its findings in<br />

relation to the Ležimir camp, the Trial Chamber finds that the Accused organized the training<br />

of VRS members between June 1992 and early 1993.<br />

Bratunac camp and Bratunac operations, early 1993<br />

1681. The Trial Chamber now turns to the Bratunac camp and the Bratunac operations. The<br />

Trial Chamber will consider whether the Accused directed the involvement of the Unit in<br />

particular operations in and around Bratunac. 3340 The Trial Chamber will further consider<br />

whether the Accused organized, supplied, financed, and supported the Unit’s involvement in<br />

those particular operations. 3341 The Trial Chamber will also review whether the Accused<br />

directed and organized the financing, training, logistical support, and other substantial<br />

assistance or support for the Unit at the Bratunac camp. 3342 Finally, the Trial Chamber will<br />

consider whether the Accused directed and organized the training of other groups at the<br />

Bratunac camp.<br />

1682. In its Final Trial Brief, the Prosecution submits that from early 1993, the Serbian MUP<br />

DB sent members of the Red Berets to establish a camp at Bratunac, where they trained local<br />

Serbs. 3343 The Serbian MUP financed the Bratunac Red Berets. 3344<br />

1683. The Trial Chamber will now consider the presence of Unit members, including Vasilije<br />

Mijović, 3345 in Bratunac from early 1993. Miroslav Deronjić, a Serb municipal leader from<br />

Bratunac, 3346 stated that a Red Berets camp was established in Bratunac in early 1993. The<br />

civilian authorities in Bratunac were not informed about its establishment, but they were<br />

summoned to a meeting with Vuksić (the Commander of the Bratunac Brigade), Vasilije<br />
