Echocardiology Tech, MRI Tech, Nuclear Medicine Tech, Coordinator Nuclear Medicine, Lead Nuclear Medicine Tech, Pulmonary Function Tech, Radiation Therapy Tech (All levels), Radiology Tech (all levels), Pharmacy Tech, Respiratory Care Practitioners (all levels), Ultrasound Tech: $2.10 per hour (b) All other classifications: $1.10 per hour At St. Francis: 1. Per Diem Rates: Technical Per Diem employees shall be paid 15% above and Service and Maintenance employees 5% above the employee’s base rates assigned in the wage scale attached as Appendix C or the current wage, whichever is greater. 2. Pay in Lieu of Benefits: Employer shall pay “Pay in Lieu of Benefit” rates at fifteen percent (15%) above the base rates. Employees currently working as Pay in Lieu of Benefits may continue to work in such status; other employees may be hired into or converted to such status at the employees’ discretion. All LHMs: Any employees on payroll at the time of ratification receiving more favorable in lieu of fringe benefit differential than provided for above shall retain their higher rates/ percentages. As an exception to the preceding paragraph, Casual, Temporary, and Limited Part-time employees shall be paid at time and one-half (1 l/2) the employee’s straight-time rate for all hours worked on a holiday shift. “Holidays,” for the purposes of this subparagraph, are those listed in Article 20, with the exception of the employee’s birthday. A “holiday shift” is one when the major portion of the shift falls on a holiday. K. Bilingual Services At Saint Louise and St. Francis only: An employee shall not be required to provide translation and/or interpreting services for the Hospital. An employee agreeing to provide such services shall do so only on a voluntary basis and shall be held harmless for any legal or other adverse action arising from an alleged misrepresentation or misinterpretation as a result of translating or interpreting activities. An employee who has volunteered to provide translating or interpreting services and who has been designated by the Hospital as an interpreter or translator pursuant to the provisions of California Health and Safety Code Section 49
