D. New Employee List<br />
1. The Employer will provide to the Union the following information no later than<br />
the 10 th <strong>of</strong> each month in both hard copy and on disk or electronically (On Excel,<br />
ASCII delimited text, or another compatible format):<br />
a. a list <strong>of</strong> new hires, including their name, Social Security number, home<br />
address, home phone number, classification, department, status (e.g.<br />
regular, part-time, per diem, temporary), and date <strong>of</strong> hire;<br />
b. a list <strong>of</strong> terminations, including the name, Social Security number, home<br />
address, home phone number, classification, department, status (i.e.<br />
regular, part-time, per diem, temporary), date <strong>of</strong> termination, and reason<br />
for termination;<br />
c. a list <strong>of</strong> employees who have transferred into, out <strong>of</strong>, or within the<br />
bargaining unit—including their name, Social Security Number, home<br />
address and home phone number, in addition to the employees’ former and<br />
new classification, former and new wage rate, former and new department<br />
shift status (e g., regular fulltime, part-time), and date <strong>of</strong> transfer. The<br />
Employer is not required to provide the data for employees who have<br />
transferred out <strong>of</strong> the bargaining unit, other than a list <strong>of</strong> the employees<br />
with their name, former and new department, date <strong>of</strong> transfer, and social<br />
security number; and<br />
d. a complete bargaining unit list with the above mentioned data in (a).<br />
ARTICLE 8: NEW EMPLOYEES, ORIENTATION, EMPLOYEE LISTS<br />
A. During the new hire orientation for new employees, the Employers will allow a<br />
representative <strong>of</strong> the Union up to one (1) hour during the final period <strong>of</strong> such program, to<br />
discuss the Union and the terms <strong>of</strong> this Agreement. Attendance by new employees shall<br />
not be counted as work time if the discussion causes the orientation to exceed eight (8)<br />
hours in a workday. However, the Employers will make every effort to ensure that the<br />
Union orientation occurs within the eight-hour period. In the event a shop steward is<br />
assigned, the steward shall be released from work without loss <strong>of</strong> pay to participate in the<br />
session, provided that patient care permits. Where such program is regularly scheduled<br />
such release should normally occur.<br />
B. The Employers will provide to the Union the following information no later than<br />
the 15th <strong>of</strong> each month in both hard copy and on disk (on Excel or Quattro Pro or any<br />
similar computer format)<br />
1. a list <strong>of</strong> new hires, including their name, home address, home phone<br />
number, classification, wage rate, department, shift, status (i.e. regular full-time,<br />
regular part-time, per diem, temporary), and date <strong>of</strong> hire; and<br />
2. a list <strong>of</strong> terminations, including the name, home address, home phone<br />
number, classification, department, shift, status (i.e. regular full-time, regular part-<br />
