<strong>REACH</strong>: Status for our <strong>PVC</strong>-products “VINNOLIT xxxx” (all types)<br />
Ladies and gentlemen,<br />
The <strong>REACH</strong>-Regulation 1907/2006/EC has been in force since June 1, 2007 and<br />
regulates the registration of substances by 2010 / 2013 / 2018 in Europe.<br />
Our <strong>PVC</strong>-Products “VINNOLIT xxxx” (all types) are polymers, not substances and<br />
therefore exempted from registration according to <strong>REACH</strong> article 2 (9.).<br />
For this reason you will also not receive a registration number or extended Material<br />
Safety Data Sheet with exposure scenarios in the annex. We need no uses from you.<br />
The used monomers for the production of the <strong>PVC</strong>-Products are already registered with<br />
the following Reg.No.:<br />
• Vinyl chloride 01-2119458772-30 and/or<br />
• Vinyl acetate 01-2119471301-50 and/or<br />
• Butyl acrylate 01-2119453155-43 and/or<br />
• Ethylene 01-2119462827-27<br />
Because the monomers are far below 0,1% (w/w) in the <strong>PVC</strong>-Products, it is not<br />
necessary to include the Reg.No. for monomers in the Material Safety Data Sheet.<br />
We continuously observe the <strong>REACH</strong> Candidate List for SVHC (substance of very high<br />
concern) and the Restriction List in <strong>REACH</strong> Annex XVII. There are no SVHC<br />
substances in and no restrictions for our <strong>PVC</strong>-Products. Cadmium, mentioned in<br />
<strong>REACH</strong> Annex XVII 23., is also no ingredient.<br />
