major benefits of the Canvas.<br />

There are three ways <strong>to</strong> start<br />

adding content <strong>to</strong> the Canvas<br />

edi<strong>to</strong>r (listed in order from least<br />

advanced <strong>to</strong> most):<br />

1. The most straightforward way<br />

<strong>to</strong> build a Canvas email is <strong>to</strong><br />

click the Choose Layout but<strong>to</strong>n<br />

and select one of the<br />

over one hundred starter layouts<br />

we provide. You can then alter the layouts and add y<strong>our</strong> content. This is the method<br />

used by nearly all Canvas users, and is also the method we’ll look at in this guide.<br />

2. If you have y<strong>our</strong> own HTML design ready <strong>to</strong> go, but want <strong>to</strong> tweak it a bit using the<br />

Canvas, then you can use the Edit S<strong>our</strong>ce tab <strong>to</strong> paste in y<strong>our</strong> own code – y<strong>our</strong><br />

design will then appear in the editing area and you can use <strong>our</strong> <strong>to</strong>ols <strong>to</strong> make<br />

changes.<br />

3. If you know y<strong>our</strong> way around a WYSIWYG edi<strong>to</strong>r, you can build every single part<br />

of the email from scratch by adding and formatting tables, and then dropping y<strong>our</strong><br />

content in<strong>to</strong> those tables.<br />

To get started with the Canvas, go <strong>to</strong> VR <strong>Email</strong> > New <strong>Email</strong>, choose the <strong>Email</strong> Canvas,<br />

and click Next Step.<br />

Just as with the Wizard, you’ll first be prompted <strong>to</strong> enter y<strong>our</strong> From Label and y<strong>our</strong><br />
