Goals <strong>and</strong> Objectives for the <strong>2012</strong> <strong>Budget</strong>:<br />
Assist with the process to update the District’s long-range strategic plan. Generate<br />
public awareness of critical needs identified in the plan. (District Goals #2LT, #5LT,<br />
#1GO, #2GO)<br />
Assist the IT Department with content for the new website. The splash page will be<br />
monitored weekly for current content <strong>and</strong> calendar content will be posted monthly.<br />

Continue to assist various departments with their social media efforts. (District Goals<br />
#2GO)<br />
Serve on the Golf Marketing Committee <strong>and</strong> actively participate with planning,<br />
implementing <strong>and</strong> tracking marketing <strong>and</strong> revenue generating efforts. The rounds of<br />
golf will be measured against other similar local golf courses. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Continue to produce monthly e-newsletters for Buck, Goodson <strong>and</strong> Lone Tree<br />
<strong>Recreation</strong> Centers. Assist the <strong>Recreation</strong> Center Marketing Committee with<br />
marketing <strong>and</strong> revenue generating strategies. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Assist with implementation of the marketing plans for <strong>South</strong> <strong>Suburban</strong> Ice Arena <strong>and</strong><br />
Colorado Journey. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Work with Bill Dobbs <strong>and</strong> his staff to implement a marketing plan for Family Sports<br />
Center. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Produce <strong>and</strong> distribute the District’s major marketing publications. A new strategy<br />
will be developed for promoting senior programs, rather than printing the Adult<br />
Connection <strong>and</strong> having it available for pick up at Buck. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Create <strong>and</strong> distribute the District’s Annual Report. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Submit an application for the Gold Medal Award. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Facilitate the VolunTeen program. A process will be developed to streamline the<br />
scheduling of the teens. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Provide excellent customer service for people wanting to register for classes. (District<br />
Goals #2GO)<br />
Monitor <strong>and</strong> manage, as needed, the registration database, such as merging<br />
duplicative customer accounts, posting classes to the website <strong>and</strong> proofing the<br />
website catalog to the print catalog. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Process <strong>and</strong> track recreation scholarships. To assist with evaluating the program, a<br />
tracking report will be produced <strong>and</strong> shared annually with staff. (District Goals<br />
#1GO, #2GO)<br />
Coordinate with community events, such as Western Welcome Week <strong>and</strong> Centennial<br />
Under the Stars, to generate awareness <strong>and</strong> goodwill. (District Goals #2GO)<br />
Coordinate <strong>South</strong> <strong>Suburban</strong> dedications for completed capital projects <strong>and</strong> for<br />
planning <strong>and</strong> promoting various special events to generate awareness <strong>and</strong> goodwill.<br />
