REVENUE CATEGORIES<br />

Property Tax Revenue<br />

Property tax revenue includes current <strong>and</strong> delinquent tax revenue <strong>and</strong> prior year<br />

abatement revenue. 2010 Mill levy for operations is 4.417 mills <strong>and</strong> 0.040 mills for<br />

abatements.<br />

Specific Ownership Tax<br />

This revenue represents the ownership tax portion of the vehicle registration fee, which is<br />

based on the taxable value of the purchased vehicle. The allocation is based on the<br />

District’s property tax revenue as a percent of the total property tax revenue of all entities<br />

within the county.<br />

Intergovernmental Revenue<br />

Intergovernmental revenue is received from other governmental agencies <strong>and</strong><br />

municipalities for operations.<br />

Donations/Grants<br />

Donation revenue is received from a private donor or company <strong>and</strong> is generally for a<br />

specific program.<br />

Net Investment Income<br />

Includes interest earned on cash, investments, property taxes, etc... net of market<br />

fluctuation adjustments.<br />

Program Revenue<br />

Program revenue is generated by fees charged for programs <strong>and</strong> facilities. Program<br />

revenue includes admission, league fees, class revenue, private lessons, court<br />

reservations, pass sales, green fees, driving range fees, golf cart rentals, player fees, <strong>and</strong><br />

fitness revenue.<br />

Retail Sales Revenue<br />

Retail sales revenue is generated from sales of various types for retail items at the<br />

District’s various pro shops. These items may include clothing, golf clubs, tennis<br />

racquets, <strong>and</strong> other sporting accessories.<br />

Restaurant Revenue<br />

This revenue is generated by food <strong>and</strong> beverage sales at the District’s restaurants <strong>and</strong><br />

concession st<strong>and</strong>s <strong>and</strong> by vending machine sales.<br />

Contract Sales Revenue<br />

This revenue includes payment from instructors or professionals that use our facilities to<br />

teach lessons. Also includes payments from vendors who sell items in our facilities, such<br />

as Vending Machines.<br />
