General Fund <strong>Budget</strong> Overview<br />

General Fund Description<br />

The General Fund accounts for the District’s general operations. It is used to account for all<br />

transactions not specifically related to the District’s other funds.<br />

Major Revenue Sources<br />

The major revenue sources for the General Fund are property taxes (87%), specific<br />

ownership taxes (8%), other income (3%), <strong>and</strong> intergovernmental revenue <strong>and</strong> donations<br />

(2%).<br />
