Pulse code modulation & reconstruction, Quantization noise, Companded PCM, Delta modulation, Adaptive delta modulation, Differential PCM, ISI and eye diagram. B. LPC and Line Coding, equalizers. Unit II Digital modulation techniques (8 Hrs) A. Digital modulation techniques such as Binary Phase Shift Keying, Quadrature Phase Shift Keying, M-Ary PSK , Quadrature Amplitude Shift Keying, Binary Frequency Shift Keying, M-Ary Frequency Shift Keying, Minimum Shift Keying B. Differential Phase Shift Keying, Differentially encoded PSK , Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying. Unit III (8 Hrs) Detection & Performance Analysis Of Digital Signal A.Base Band signal receiver ,Derivation for Error prob of int. & dump Filter, Optimum Filter, white noise matched filter, probability error of match filter, correlation, FSK, PSK, non- coherent detection of FSK, DPSK, QPSK, Calculation of error probability for BPSK & BFSK , Signal Space to calculate Probability of error.
