3. OPERATION AGAINST “JUETENG” IN PINDIGAN, ABRA
• On September 21, 2010, elements of CARCIDU of this
Group together with Abra PPO, RIO 14 and Pidigan MPS conducted operation
against illegal numbers game locally known as “Jueteng” at Brgys. Suyo and
Naguirayan, Pidigan, Abra that resulted to the arrest of Randy TESORO y
Fernandez, 47 years old, a resident of Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur and five (5)
other bettors and the confiscation of Php 3,200.00 cash bets in different
denominations.
• A case for violation of PD 1602 as amended by RA 9287
was filed against the arrested suspects before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office,
Abra docketed under NPS No. I-06-INQ-10I-00274.
4. OPERATION AGAINST “STL-BOOKIES” IN ORANI, BATAAN
• On September 21, 2010, elements of Bataan CIDT-3RCIDU
of this Group together with Mr. John Torres, District Administrator of the PCSO-
STL (Sunset Bay Research and Marketing Corporation as authorized franchise
holder in Bataan Province) conducted operation at Brgy. Tenejero, Orani, Bataan
that resulted to the arrest of Ronald PARTO y Nagrampa, 38 years old and three
(3) others and confiscation of Php 2,120 cash bets in different denominations and
assorted gambling paraphernalia intended for STL.
• A case for violation of PD 1602 as amended by RA 9287
was filed against the arrested suspects before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office,
Bataan docketed under NPS No. III-03-INQ-10I-00315.
5. OPERATION AGAINST “JUETENG”
IN CALAMBA CITY, LAGUNA
• On September 20, 2010, elements of Laguna CIDT-
4ARCIDU of this Group together with Calamba CPS conducted police operation
at Pabalan Street, Brgy. 5, Calamba City, Laguna that resulted to the
confiscation of Php 690.00 cash bets in different denominations, one (1) bundle
of “Jueteng” Lastillas consisting signed and symbols, two (2) pieces round
ballpen and one (1) belt bag colored black from the possession of the following
arrested suspects:
- Erick ANDAYA y Perez, 37 years old,
Cobrador/Cabu;
- Rolly CRUZ y Luna, 31 years old, Bettor; and
- Rodel REYES y Alviz, 49 years old, Bettor – all
residents of Brgy. Tibag, Calamba City, Laguna.
• Cases for violation of PD 1602 as amended by RA 9287
were filed against the arrested suspects before the City Prosecutor’s Office,
Calamba City, Laguna docketed under IS Nos. IV-12-INQ-10I-00603 to 00605.
