Child Equity Atlas ANNEX-1B: Definition of Indicators Sex ratio Sex ratio is the ratio of boys to girls in a population (per 100 girls) Childbearing age Women of childbearing age are defined by women aged 15-49 years. Literacy An individual who is able to write a letter is defined as literate. Female teenage married population Number of female aged 15-19 years who are married. Youth An individual boy or girl aged between 15 to 24 years is defined as youth. School attendance at age 5 Children aged 5 years who are attending school. Net Attendance Rate (NAR) at Primary NAR is the percentage of primary school age (6-10 years) children attending primary school. Net Attendance Rate (NAR) at Secondary NAR is the percentage of secondary school age (11-14 years) children attending secondary school. Real Child Worker Children aged 10-14 years who are not in school and engaged in (paid or unpaid) work. Sex ratio is the ratio of boys to girls in a population (per 100 girls)<br />
