In the ATC system, J04 is a group in which products used to treat tuberculosis and<br />
leprosy in humans are classified.<br />
In veterinary medicine, however, the products classified in QJ04 are used for the<br />
treatment of diseases caused by other mycobacteria.<br />
Drugs for mycobacterial infections are classified in QJ04A - Drugs for the<br />
treatment of tuberculosis. However, streptomycins are classified in QJ01G -<br />
Aminoglycoside antibacterials. Antimycobacterials for intramammary use should<br />
be assigned to QJ54.<br />
