PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:
CHAPTER NEWSLETTER
Wow! Summer has left us and it is finally fall. The leaves are starting to turn and the smell of the colder air is
refreshing.
It has been three months since I was elected President and I am just settling into the position. We have had a few
additions to our board this year. Carol Dechen and Ronnie Venditti have been appointed as new trustees. Carol is the surviving
spouse of Ken Dechen from 2000, and Ronnie is the surviving spouse of Enrico Venditte from 2001. Kevin Laughery,
a surviving sibling from 1992, will remain on as our Vice President. Bill Bosworth, a surviving father from 1997 has taken
on the treasurer’s position, and John Ciuppa, a surviving son from 1954, has remained on as secretary. Our other two trustees
are Dennis Cudnik, a surviving sibling from 1996, and our immediate past President Madeline Neumann, a surviving
spouse from 1989.
I look forward to working with our board this coming year in getting more of our membership involved with the
organization. We are planning many different activities next year including a Golf Tournament and a Dinner Dance to honor
our fallen officers. There is our annual camping trip, and much, much more. If anyone would like to become more involved
with Garden State C.O.P.S. please feel free give me a call or send me an email.
need that kind of support. Your experience can be a lifeline for a newer survivor. As always, children are welcome to
everything we offer.
